Business process Improvement, Change Management and Programme/Project Management
Methodologies. These include, Financials, HR, CRM and Procurement i.e. PSA, iSTT,
SPI etc.
- Director in charge of the CIS Business Unit which was focused on the Corporate Performance
Management, Workforce Optimisation and Mobile business solutions. This unit re-vitalises
existing legacy business solutions extending their reporting capability, workforce
usage through web and wireless access. The units extensive business experience was
used to develop solutions for clients to meet their business needs and future proofing
their application system design.

- Establish Symix as a leading supplier of ERP, eBusiness and Supply Chain software
solutions in Asia Pacific.
- Awarded a prestigious government project with an Innovative Development Scheme (IDS)
grant of more than S$1.4M to launch first ERP bureau service in Singapore. The birth
of the Singapore ASP market. This was deemed extremely successful and is now bringing
a substantial revenue to Symix and is regards as one of the worlds first ASP's.
- Managed the Implementation of Symix in more than 150 sites across the Asia Pacific
Region. Symix had customers that implemented their full suite of products such as
Epsom, Seiko, Reda Pump, Barry Callebaught, Stanley Tools, and NOK etc. The implementations
were regional and complex involving multi-company transactions for procurement,
sales and supply chain and scheduling. All projects used the Symix Project Management
and Application implementation methodologies

- This was approximately a US$70M operation.
- Supporting direct sales operations through the region, with pre-sales presentations,
proposal writing, product demonstrations and product promotion.
- Moved to Shanghai in 1992, to support two large customers, Shanghai Erfangji (textile
manufacturer) and Bao Steel. (Steel Manufacturer) project managing their business
solutions implementations. These sites involved supply chain, scheduling and procurement
modules that had to be integrated into their operational processes. Shanghai Erfangji
was US$5M project Bao Steel was US$13M.

- Developed marketing programmes for the Industrial and Commercial Line of Business
for Europe Africa Division - this was approximately a US$300M operation.
- Managed a large portfolio of software products and a development centre - Unisys
products were mTMS, BAMCS, UNIS, Graftek, PCS, LINC, Data Collection etc.
- Principle role was to guide and advise country units on the implementation of the
IT infrastructure and software products. This involved running proposals, acting
as advisor to implementation teams and communicating localisation and customisation
requests to the development centres. The projects were diverse and covered a wide
range of functional areas across multiple countries.
